When I was a college student, and classes got difficult or I was particularly stressed, I used to throw up my hands and say “That’s it, I give up! I’m running away and joining the circus.” One wedding, two degrees, and 4 kids later, its occurred to me that my life has actually become the circus. (In a massively blessed kind of way, of course. 🙂 )
I’m a stay at home mom (music teacher in a somewhat former life) of 3 boys ages 5, 3 1/2 and 2, and one little girl who is about 6 months old. I’m married to an extremely hard working man, who is very involved in his kids’ lives. We’re a Christian family and consider our children to be a gift from God. I decided to blog about our family life and adventures for several reasons: 1) Humor, somewhere someone has got to think some of these happenings are funny. Even if in the actual moment, I find them anything but! 2) Documentation. Like a diary, I’d like to look back when my kids are grown and remember their small children antics, struggles and successes. 3) I’ve come up with a few good ideas here and there that help us get the job done. Perhaps these posts will spark an idea for someone else, even though I’m pretty sure I only have one reader (Hi Mom!). 4) For family, so they can keep up with our lives and the notable things the children do.
